4760 Analogue Card not working to send faxes

Hi,

We have an OmniPCX 4760 with a 16 port analogue card in the front. We are trying to run our fax server through it using GFI Faxmaker and a 4 port Brooktrout TR1034 card however the server only seems to be able to receive faxes and not send them. The error that is coming up is error "54 handshaking failed". When the card is plugged into a BT line it works fine.

So, I was wondering if there are any specific settings for an analogue extension within Omnivista that might help? Thinking along the lines of timeout or error correction? I've already changed the data type to "fax" in the settings but that hasn't helped.

Please can anyone help?

Try to send this fax by internall call to an old-fasion facsimle machine? (will rule out, ARS, permisions, barring etc) ?
It's an analog, so plug in parralel a simple phone and listen is there any voice guide played? Maybe you will hear something.
Also, change your extension not to hear any VG only tones. Also, no callback, no intrusions/announcement etc..,
As i assume, you try to deliver reports by fax from OV4760 by a special print option ? Why not an email?
