Hi Guys
I have an OXE connected to Broadsoft over ext sip gateway and ABC-F trunk group.
Is it possible to display the username instead of the number, without creating speed-dials for each external user?

Re: SIP Trunk Name Display
Use ISDN-ALL-Country as Q.931 for your SIP TRUNK, instead of ABC-F

Re: SIP Trunk Name Display
Hi Frank.
Thanks, I had it configured as ISDN and it gave me the number only so I thought i would try Abcf to maybe see the name
But it is the same. I see in the manual it says that abcf just gives
A few extra options for diversion and such.
Is it possible to display the name?
I mean the information is there in the trace its just how to get the
Oxe to use it.
Any suggeations Welcome i can't find anything in the docs about it.

Re: SIP Trunk Name Display
Hi ,
Usually a sip trunk setup as ABC-F is considered in the external world as PRIVATE SIP TRUNK.
This would be most likely between 2 Alcatel-Lucent PBX.
A sip trunk setup as ISDN-ALL-COUNTRIES is considered in the external world as PUBLIC SIP TRUNK.
You might loose some features, but this would be the one to use. Give it a shot. I think one trunk gives names, the other does not.
I would try it and tell you, but i m too tired

Read this document - Section 7.7 , subsection 7.7.1
It will show you the differences between ABCF and ISDN.
