I want the voice prompt to read out all the options in the main menu.
At the moment it is giving 2 options only; "to send a message,press 2" and "to disconnect,press * ".
When I dial 4 for personal options,it worked. But my customer wants the guide to tell them all instead of the two options only.
Can someone tell me how this can be done?

You will need to connect directly to the Voicemail VPS 4635 adapter with the V24 cable, in order to access the 4635 configuration options.
You have to use the special Alcatel cable V24, which comes with an special connector to plug it on the rear connector of the VPS35 and a serial connector to plug on the notebook or desktop PC. Then you access the system using Hyperterminal

I've got the VPS35 manual which describe the menus of the voicemail system configuration if you need.

I was referring to the main menu that the voice guide plays when callers dial in to the voicemail system to check their messages.
In the management menu,I dont have any problems as I can access it thru the way you had just mentioned.
