FPGA version upgrade

Hello,

i wanna ask about FPGA version.
i have installed 7450 ESS6 .when i type show boot-message FPGA version i got is 2B.
then i upgrade my 7450 ESS6's TiMOS which is i type admin reboot upgrade.
then i have FPGA version i got is 34.

what is FPGA upgrade version for? is there an impact to cards i installed on my 7450?
