Just installed a system with pimphony pro rel 6.2. Pimphony working ok apart from voice mail notification. I have relevant sw keys.
I have programmed the smtp ip address of the email server in central services, and valadated with sucess.
I have prog central services with the user in sub/basestation - central services - with their email address and ticked the relevant notification boxes.
I have also programmed the pimphony to notify the email address.
The customer is using microsoft outlook.

One other problem is that the pimphony has sync'd up the contact list in microsoft outlook ok. But when i try and dial out from the contact list, it dials the operator ( digit 0). The outside access digit is set to 9 (uk standard) .Do i have to modify the tapi outgoing access digit within pimphony ?

Any help would be appreciated.

About e-mail notification of voice mail: you need to allow "SMTP Relay" function in your E-mail server for OXO. Contact system administrator of your e-mail server for resolving this issue. This function (notification) works without PIMphony too.

Hi,

for outgoing calls with pimphony you have to enter your access "9" in the properties of location in options/telephone.
you also have to activate "Add Tapi Outside Access Code for numbers" higher than x digits, depending on your internal numberingplan.
