HELP - Need info on 4635 november 24 issue

Does anyone knows exactly what's going to append after novermber 24 2015 @ 20h15?

It has been specified taht any previous voicemail will be deleted, but if someone leave a new message, is it going to be accessible by the users?

Or, after this date, all messages, old and new, will be unacessible and the VM will basicly became useless?

Also, is it possible to avoid this issue by reverting the VM date to 2014? do we need to also set the phone system at 2014 or both can be at seperate date?

Have you read the release notes?? I guess you will have to wait for Nov 24 to get your question answered, or else, upgrade now to avoid any disappointments..

See images for 4635 voicemail behaviour after Nov 24 if not upgraded to 5.6.0 and above. Suggest upgrade to R5.6.5 as some problems in other releases.

The Results column if it shows "NOK" this means these cases will not work after the Nov 24.

Also Note:
The messages stored between November 24th, 2015 and date of the upgrade (before March 31th, 2016) will be dated in 2010.

Hello,

It's an Alcatel product issue (bug), ALE must be send the patch free of cost, why ALE charging for this fix..?

is there any documents mentioned earlier or while selling these boards to customers regarding this issue..?

if ALE notify while selling or proposal to customer, ALE can charge these bug fixing..!! or else ALE must be provide the patch free of cost for every customers..!!

If I am wrong please comment....!

You get for free as long as you have support active. Simple.
You pay for any bug correction. If you stopped paying is like blaming your av because you got virus and decided to stop paying for database updates... Same logic
