CISCO-OXE SIP Trunk

Post by thanzeel »

Hi all,

I have integrated Cisco with OXE through SIP External Gateway. PSTN PRI are connected in OXE. The below is my scenario:

CISCO phone seizes the SIP Trunk to make an external call through alcatel PRI. When a mobile phone is switched off, CISCO gets a ringback tone in this scenario. In the traces from Cisco and OXE i'm able to see OXE is sending 180 Ringing message to Cisco.

Need your valuable suggestions in this case if anyone has encountered it.

Thanks and Regards

You can map the ISDN causes in SIP messages on OXE side. (CH to SIP error mapping under SIP in mgr)

Anyway did you traced the call and see that the public provider sends busy to OXE?

The disconnect cause is important. You map the cause to the desired SIP message.

Do you have any document for this? I'm seeing the message normal call clearing.. but in my setup is showing Bad gateway as the mapping.

Show us the traces: on ISDN side and on SIP side (same call).

You have several calls in your trace.
Try to capture traces only for one call (ex: mtracer -a <user number> for isdn rather than t3)
