lol, nothing to do, commercial speech, first it impresses you, dizzies and when you are completly in shock makes you buy anything lol.
I still hate the new logo, liked the Alcatel old one and the Lucent old one, but this new one....naa

You know - they (Lucent) spent years developing a product (the Definity) that created fierce competition with the 4400 and now Alcatel and Lucent have joined forces.

Admittedly Lucent split away from the PBX side and spawned AVAYA so Lucent themselves were committed to other technologies, again, in competition with Alcatel. So I guess the merger (of equals) was inevitable.

Makes you wonder which which products are going to get killed off soon!

The best thing Alcatel is getting out of this, is Bell Labs.. They have tons of patents !

I´ve been working with Definity G3r systems until six years ago and I really liked that pbx. Still miss some features in OXE.

I've a little experience with a definity system, and it GEDI (Graphically Enhanced DEFINITY Interface) but I prefere Alcatel.
Alcatel interface is much more easy and practical to use, I think.
