Cannot Change 6850 24X Password

I Need to change switch password but I change the password new one, but not change still old password have the switch
What can I do ?

-> copy working certified

but new password is not working. old password is still working.

you try the other way to change the password:
user xxx password new-pw

is it the user admin? if not than you can login as admin and delete the other user (no user xxx) and create it new (user xxx password new-pw read-write all).
Also you can delete (or rename) the usertable5 (or usertable4) in switch-directory. After restart of the switch there is only the admin-user with default pw. Now you can create all your users...
