CCS Upgrade Path

Good afternoon

I have another noobie question if I may...

I have been tasked with upgrading our CCS application and was wondering if I could clarify a couple of questions.


When I go into the CCS application and select HELP, About CCS it shows we are running version 10.01.90.02. Within this same screen it also shows another version number of 08.01.90 ?? May I ask what this version number relates to ? (Have attached a screenshot)

Concerning the upgrade, I have been informed we will be going to version 10.4
Is it possible to jump directly to version 10.4 from 10.01.90.02 ?

Will I need to upgrade to a specific version of the server if we upgrade CCS to 10.4 ? Will the server version also be 10.4 ?

No, CCS is backwards compatible, what you can't do is upgrade OXE to latest version and use an old version of CCS

If you have CCS server then yes, needs to be upgraded too
