R 9.1 CS-2 & GD-2 wont load with PC Installer 2.24???

yes new HDD and new CS-2, I dont see the menu your getting Joel, I have checked the HDD and it IS a supported model, but is blank. Is there some pre-loading that needs to been done to new HDD's?

Found issue!!

FXCKING Windows 7 wont work with 2.24 PC Intsaller!!....loaded VMWare and created an XP machine, added all other needed software to it and bingo it started to boot off my VM-XP machine straight away!

Why Yoy use 2.24? Exist 2.26 version

I "Yoy'sed" 2.24, 2.25 and 2.26 and NONE worked? I was loading R9.0 and ALWAYS use the PC Installer that is part of the release to perform an install.

I have 2 new IBM appilance servers and 2 new CS-2's that will not load via Win7 or XP?

I am lodging an e-Service with France to find out why.

You are only looking at the AP screen you need to connect a to console port screen for you to be able to see the boot from etherent screen

Hi,

with Windows 7 launch the PCInstaller in compatibility mode XP SP3 and as Administrator! Go to the Start menu and right click on the PCinstaller icon.

At least this works for me.

After quite few hours of troubbleshooting I found this post.

What I found is:

Loading from WIN7+PCInstaller 2.26 you can install a static patch WITHOUT running as winXP+admin.

Loading from WIN7+PCInstaller 2.26 you can install a mainrelease WITH running as winXP+admin.

Think this is what have confused some (incl. me).
