are you using a direct connection from pc-installer pc to appliance server ?. it looks like there are more than 1 dhcp server available.

The thing about not loading part 2, i have seen many times, usually when i forget to choose appliance server instead of alize.

Hi All

Thank you all for the valuble input. We got it working!!!! WWOOOHOOOOO, it was the PC INstaller Version that we were using that was wrong, but now working.

Hi Freedom,

Thanks for your help mate, next time I will climb in behind the cabinet myself and see if there really is a serial port instead of taking some one elses word for it!!!!

Hooked up serial to lappy, hit N for security question etc...runs like a beauty now...thanks again!!!!!

I had exact problem on R9.0. you must use PC installer 2.24. There is nothing to do with Redhat. I use Win XP to load the versions onto the IBM servers.
