do you know the function of ospf? if you configure it in the correct way, than the routing tables (this means info about ip networks) will be exchanged between the switches (not vlans - this is L2 !). So the switch wher vlan 456 is located will send this assosiated network (f.e. 10.10.456.0/24) to the other switch - that why this other switch knows the way to 10.10.456.0. The same in the other way.
