Hiiii our 6850 l3 core switch password is not accessible I need to the reset the password of Core switch . I if use above procedure then is that affect on our current configuration. Please help on that part.. Its urgent.

- You will need to reboot the switch, this affects the network.
- If you have a core-stack of 6850 you may need to make sure that you do get the usertable synchronized from other stack members..
- You delete all the users, this will affect snmpv3 stations that rely on the users. further snmp cummunity mapping and snmp trap station command may cease to function if you delete the referenced users.
- If you reboot your switch any L3 neighborships (BGP/OSPF..) or Spanning tree will be affected but should return to normal after the switch is back online.
Apart from that your "normal" switch config as of vlans/ports/LAGs... is not affected (of course all not currently saved config is gone after reboot)
