Some IP touch 4028/38 not working tftp no response

you can get binay files from call server (/usr2/downbin/) with ftp and put it in external tftp server(like tftpd program).
just one more try lanpbxbuild -auto.

can you test the phone on the other release? and is the strict vlan status same as the others phone?

there are possible issues (no tftp response) with desktop sharing feature and upgraded databases. check free seating switch in phone set ip-parameters (at the end of the list) and set this to false if present. there is also a knowledgebase article about this (but i didn't remember the article number).

also users which is Out of service is not an DS users..

thers is a point called "free seating" in ip parameters (the menu which you'll reach with i+# on the phone), whenever a desksharing user is logged on a desksharing set. it's stored local in the ip-phone's flash memory (not in the callserver database.)

This issue is related normal extension not an DSS users so we checked the extension & can't found any free seating option in the phone configuration menu(i+#).

Does anybody know detailed description about how to upgrade of firmware version of 4028/38 with using tftpd server...

there are chance the ip phones flash is corrupted..

i already tried to upload the /usr2/downbin files to tftpd server but its not working pls help.
