As for the external call back from vm in one of the later releases Alcatel changed the barring criteria for an outbound call from the voicemail ports to the user. Have you confirmed that the vm ports have the correct rights for the call as it maybe this and not the user rights. Also as you cannot use PHD is there anyway of confirming visually that an out bound call is or isn't being made, either by watching the busy light on the PRA card (when the site is quiet) or by checking the call counters
When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around.
But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.

Hello,
try to check the redial prefix on installation number.
The voicemail callback use this prefix to seizure the trunk group.

Thank, but if you read this topic thoughtfully, you should see that I haven't problem with basic call back. Only with external callback by means of VM.
Do you use this function at yours PABX?

Yes I have used it.
And the problem I ever found is the recall prefix on Installation Number.

I don't think that I have problem with Recall prefix. External call back work excellent. I use it.
Do you use ARS for external call or direct seizure?

Re: Call Back from Voice Mail menu
Hi all
The problem you have is the rights in the voice mail ports. You must add rights in the menu "suscribers-station list-features-part 2- Join incoming and incoming, Join incoming and outgoing, Join outgoing ang outgoing.
Try and enjoy
Bye
