Hello,

did you manage the regedit entries (IP-adress of your PC, Timeout)?

Yes I did.

Is there anyway I can do a trace during the transfer so I get some more information of what's going wrong?

if the system will still boot then log in 2 the system via the v24 port and type 'swap_serial' with a password of alcatel. This will swap the output to trace so that you can follow the course of the install. V24 output is 115200 8 N 1

Krusty,

I can imagine that.

Thanks a lot for the help.

At this moment I will try to install W2K under VMWare, to see if I will be able to install the firmware.

This because our distributor is using W2k as well, and is not experiencing any problems.

For the first time WXP is driving me mad, though I will proceed trying to solve this issue.

Have a nice evening, and hope to hear from you soon.

If I can do something for you please let me know.

To Okkie 26: Do you have marked "Service for files and printers for Microsoft Networks" in your LAN settings on your PC? One time I have forgot this, and spend some hours in searching solution.

hi, i am getting the same error with that "missing" file. But i have tried that with an CPU3m with the currupted NAND flash.
I thought it was a problem with the CPU! :o

What type of CPU do you want to flash?

you must have simple file sharing turned off.

Windows Explorer>tools>Folder Options>View>

its right at the bottom.

I have had this also and found that it only seemed to occur when we had a VOIP board installed. When we swapped back to an xmem and retried it all worked, then we re-installed the VOIP board after the lola was done.

Hope that helps.
