****PLEASE READ***** I AM THE MEMBER WHO STARTED THIS POST.**** Actually since I first posted this we have had real issues with or voicemail system. We decided to add redundancy to our system by adding GMR. We made this decision in the first place because 8 months after the system was installed Toshiba HD crashed. So that is why we decided we needed redundancy. We had it installed by Pro Services and the technician was awesome. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. However, ALU should end of life this product. It created so many problems. I did a garbage collect and GMR had 2379 I/O errors and erased 739 voice messages in the process. We could not restore messages because of corruption. I am a former BP AQPS and AQFE. I am glad in never designed or sold this to any customers. So with that being said we will wait another year or two for ALU to work out the bugs on new VM 8400 and yank our 4635. My complaint even when I was an AQPS is that you could never simple add UM without trashing the whole 4635 and upgrading it. I love that is was in the skin but hate that you could never do anything with it. So for any reading this post feel free to contact me if you ever decide to install this. I wish I would have listen to the former BP I worked for and other BP I that had also discouraged install this product.

Jerry

Ok here goes.. GMR No problems. Very easy to install and appeaers to be working, however I have yet had one that failed so can't comment on ease to restore. If anything like the back up (SBR.SBZ file FTP'ed off the 4635) it is very easy and works a real treat.

I hope that this helps you or have I mised the boat?
