Thanks for the answer. mtcl/mtcl worked

Now am having trouble connecting to the management tool using the browser. The java applet fails to load using any of the browsers?

Is this a known issue?

Uninstall all java version you have on your computer, then connect to the management tool. It will upload the release you need.

You can also try the standalone at
ALCATEL/TOOLS/stand-alone-client-4760i.zip

This is a much better client that the one that I was using. At least gives me the username password. Nevertheless when I use mtcl/mtcl it gives me these errors. I thought mtcl was the accunt to use...

I connected finally with the omnivista client but now I get these errors when logged in as mtcl:mtcl

Connecting to 192.168.1.12

Are you connecting to a act or media gateway ? Not sure it will work on an act..

Am connecting to the Call Server Module. Should this worl? Am I in the right place to start configuring the PBX?

Is your 4760i activated? Under System in MGR 4760i and then reboot

Please can you provide the steps how to check this?

I mean I can get to the System->Other System Parameters->System Parameters-?Use of 4670I

I set the value to "True" but am not sure how to save it or how to check that "true" is really ON??
