Hi guys, is there any update on this. It would be great if we could use PBR with a secondary redundant gateway.
Another question... I am connected through two ISPs and using BGP (I have my own AS). If I configure a certain range of IP addresses with a PBR policy using ISP A as permanent gateway, if ISP A goeas down, do you know if the switch will still route the traffic to the default gateway (that could be ISP B)?
Thanks!

Hi
For your question about Permanent Gateway, If ip interface linked to your Permanent Gateway is down, then you will switch to static route.

Hi
Waiting your advice, as with BFD wee need to be able to configure local and remote for BFD support, not alwais possible.
So icmp check if remote gateway up could be very helpfil for wan solution.

I am facing the same issue because I have Fortinet appliance on the other side of the gateways with vlan tagged switch in between... Is there any response from alcatel regarding the last Cedric's post? My ServerIron has so called health check whis is similar to ICMP check...
Thanks...

Haven´t heard any updates since last year. It´s a shame this can´t be done... I really need this feature for high availability.

I opened the ticket to Alcatel support the other day... The lady gave me a configuration sample with BFD but it does not really work in my case. I followed up 3x already but nobody calling me back and updating my ticket... This is not a rocket science and we are not reinventing the wheels...Most of the routers, firewalls have this features maybe except Alcatel...
Thanks...
