Self Reboot?

Hello guys,

What woud cause a 4400 to reboot itself? There where no one in the comm. closet when it happened. No maintanence being performed.

Just a reboot. The system seemingly recovered with no issues, but it's happened before and the client (and myself) would like to find an answer and prevent future disruptions...

Oh yeah, all calls where dropped.

Advice?

Maybe the harddisk is going to die. Do you hear any strange noises, from the HDD?

Check the incidents before last reset with:

incvisu -1

and you can see what is happening.

if you have IO2 board, check incidents related IO2 and change it, if you have incidents related IO1 change cpu board. 8)
