It is supposed to work in that way as your terminal has multilines, the idea is that in hot you dial a second extension without pressing another button.
Not sure if in OXO you can say to the trunk to be Auto DTMF when using that trunk.
MF transparency

Activate the MF transparency box in the Subscriber/Detalais/Features part2 side. If this box is checked the set will work in DTMF mode automatically after the call connect.
In this mode, if you want to put a call holding, or transfer it, you must deactivate the MF transparency

I've got a similar issue to stablish conferencez over the new VOIP trunks.
If I dial the first station, the DMFT is automatic, so if I want to call the 2nd extension I have to press Enquiry and then the other number.
But then, when I press 3 to establish the third-party conference between the 2 numbers, I canot do it. In the display still says MF and then appears the number I dial.
How can I terminate the DTMF during a call?

It is a system constraint when using DTMF end to end dialing - you cannot establish conferences (probably becouse you use inband signalling).

Hi Isa,
In this case You need a conference key on the digital set.
Key type: Feature key
Keyfunction: Conference

This was a difference between Europe and USA.
In the USA, they want you to push a 2nd line before you can make another call (if you initiated the first call). This is because if you call some company for example (Alcatel), and they ask you to press 1 to talk to someone, then the system has no clue if you want to send DTMF or dial your friend's extension who starts with 1. This is why you setup the DTMF at the end of the call in the trunk group. By default, to get out of this, you have to seize a new line, and dial #4

Thanks tyo all
I resolved this issue, by setting the DTMD button in all sets and set the VOIP trunk to no send DTMF automatically
