Are u already install 4645? What is the status on
1. config 18
2. vmail

voicemail is working fine.

config 18 shows the 4645 is in service and vmail shows status ok.

Where is the 4645 installed ? CS or separate shelf ?

I had the same problem with Eva_tool command. But when I did a shutdown -r now for rebooting, everything goes well. I don't know if its can help you.

Segmentation fault

I need a permenanet solution to this problem as its repeated itself. System is common hardware and 4645 is on main CS. system is R9.0 H130134. Have checked release notes for .50a but unable to see any fixes.

Has anyone else had this issue and how did they manage to fix it. I am thinking its a harddisk or software load fault. Any suggestions.

Any suggestions anyone. The voicemail is working fine except unable to execute Eva_tool command.

Very likely.
First try to reboot with the forced fsck (-F option). If this error appears again load the latest patch - i would propose even to load new HD and then restore backups of mao and 4645.

This is a known issue according to Alcatel , hopefully you have a backup. do you get the same error when telephony is stopped on the cpu ? either way if you type the following xa001001> Eva_tool FORMAT this will reformat the partition so you can then put the backup back on, no need for a new hard drive.
