Enabling G711 for SIP Extensions

Hi,

I'm using OmniPCX Enterprise R9.0 h1.301.34. I have one user configured as a SIP extension and the other configured as a SIP device. I also have a desk phone (4028 IP Set).

When I make a call from the desk phone to SIP Device, the SDP in the outgoing INVITE to the SIP device includes codes 0, 8, 4 & 101. But when I make a call to the SIP Extension, the SDP in the outgoing INVITE only includes 4 & 101. How can I enable 0 & 8 for outgoing calls to SIP Extensions?

Thanks.

Have You checked configuration of IP compression on IP Domain level? Please take doc part regarding compression algorithmes priorities, it can be manage on OXE global level, IP domain, user level.

Thanks. That helped!

IP Domain -> Intra Domain Coding Algorithm was set to "default". Changing it to "Without Compression" triggers OXE to send 0 and 101 instead of 8 and 101.
