Call-Transfer on DECT-Phone via hang up
Hi all,
how can i transfer a call from a DECT-Phone (MR300, MR400) after dial extension number and hang up.
Now i have to press 'Transfer' in the Display-Menue. If i dial an extension number and hang up i get ar recall.
At a fixed Phone (4035, 4028, etc.) i hang up and the call goes to the consultation call.
All phones are in Multiline-Mode.
The reaction should be the same on a fixed phone and a mobile Extension.
Wich option should i change?
Thank you for your help.

Hi oldboy and freedom,
thank you for your answer.
Yes, the COS is correct. Both transfers are allowed an run. A transfer via menu is ok.
Freedom, yes i think the same. - But somebody told me, that this ist configurable. It shold a setting below 'System' oder 'DECT'. - But i can't find something.
Have anybody an other idea?
Thank you.

From the MR300 / MR400 Description (MU60370BSAA-E800ed01-nav-EN-OXE.pdf from BPWS):
After dialling the number of the recipient, you can transfer your call directly without waiting for your correspondent to answer by selecting 'Transfer'. You can initiate the transfer by using the 'Transfer' icon or text. The transfer between two external correspondents and the transfer action by the on-hook key depends on the system configuration.

Hi Smileyman
I just press the OK button to complete the transfer and I honestly would not find it any easier to press the hang up button instead!
I have never worked on a system that has been configured differently and I thought that was just how it is meant to work although the quote you provided implies otherwise. But, if it is possible to configure a call transfer by pressing the on-hook key, how would you 'enquiry off' to retrieve the original caller when you cannot complete the transfer? I would find it more difficult to use a prefix instead of pressing the hang up button. Just a thought...

Hi mcdu,
thank you for your response.
Yes it's not easier, but intuitive. The Hang-up-procedure is the same as IP-Phones and UA-Phones.
A User who changed from a 4038 to a dect MR300 hangs intutitve up, to connect the calling party to an other person.
To cancel the consultation call, there should display a menue button analog the UA/IP-Phones.
