we tried to reinitialize CMIS but still does not work .if we perform a bascul it works for only one day then goes back to the same problem.

Can someone help me to sort this out.

Are you connecting via V24 or telnet? Fropm what i can see it appears to be a config error with the V24 ports causing the ports to lock up. Is it a hotel install ? i have had a similar issue before

From my past experience at the technical support, this used to be an issue on many site.
Each of them received a hotfix. You might want to upgrade to the latest patch available for this release..

I guess it's solved (posted 2 weeks ago)
But next time try this:
netadmin -c
dhs3_init -R CMISD
dhs3_init -R MAOAGENT
You should see both fresh restarted with ps -ef command.
If it not works look for a blocked sqlsrv Process and kill it. (But be careful - there are different ones e.g. some for INTERNAL_TAX)
PS: Is is a BiCS?

netadmin -c
dhs3_init -R CMISD
Hi Eliott,

Can you please explain what this does? the -c parameter doesn't appear in the netadmin help...

Thanks!

With easy words it "reloads" the current configuration into the memory.
Especially the setup for the virtual / role interfaces could be lost in some
cases when changing something on the ETH config and netadmin -c will
reconfigure it correctly based on your settings. It's no problem to use it.
