Alcatel Unleashed

Hi All,

Well it didint last long, just over a year, the PC panel is a 32 inch or so lcd panel display with a Switchmode UPS and a mini itx PC motherboard as the interface.
Seems the bespoke cable between the display and pc board has dried out in the unit and all the wires are shorting together, not good.

If anyone has a manual and can tell me where Mr Alcatel sources them from ,then I may be able to get it going again for the cost of a new cable instead of replacing the otherwise serviceable Display,...wasnt cheap neither...

I learned the hard way that you can just open a ticket to request docs that are not available on the BP ...

Could you post it? and how to restore software on this embeded PC?

Just an update from our side, have tracked down Manufacturer who says this model is now obsolete, so if we had taken out a warranty then our suppliers would have had to stump up for a new unit , ,never mind,..Im in the process of piecing out the cable to repair it.
Lesson learned: Dont let other departments buy kit with out a warranty.
