PIN by Group

Hello,

I have tried to configure PIN by group in an OXE system.
By my experience it is not possible to make difference between several groups
assigened to users. It means only group 1 work. If I set a different group number
for a user it doesn't work even if the same group number is configured for another terminal (or extension number).
If there is somebody who has experience with it please help me!

Regards,
Sándor

I am not sure what you are trying to achieve. Could you be more specific?

Hi,

PIN Group is a possibility to share some PINs between extensions. The given group of PINs works for a given group of extensions (not for all).

I assume you can assign same PIN to several users. Or same business code or substitution code -->your choice.

Hello,

If you check PIN configuration under User or under Translator you can see that there is a possibility to be assigned a PIN number into a group. With the other words it is possible to configure PIN numbers depending on a group. The system checks the appropriate PIN number by the group index.
