Problem with 4020 and voicemail

Hi All
I have two 4020 units on which voice mail is no longer working. A message can be left and the mail led flashes but on pressing the button there are no instructions given. e.g. " You have 1 new message". I think this may be a problem with our PM5 (R400 17.1b) database as each time I save it I get the follow message " The database is incomplete and cannot be restored by a full restore save anyway?".
Any pointers?.

Download the new firmware again

Hi Tom,

I think you can solve the problem by reloading the firmware.
Sometimes after a download some voice prompts are missing or just empty.

So make a backup of your system by PM5 (COMM -> READ ALL FROM PBX than FILE -> SAVE AS...) and download the newest firmware of your release.

Hello,

first you have to download the firmware from the Alcatel-Lucent Businesspartner website.

Than you can download it with the PM5/OMC (section: Tools) in the oxo. But don´t forget to backup your configuration on your PC first.
Sometimes the OXO gets naked after a firmware update even if you have ticked the option Datasaving.
