802.1q ports range

Is there a way to specify a ports range in command:

vlan <tag> 802.1q <ports range>

Hi rusik and welcome to AlcatelUnleashed,

Unfortunately there is no such command today.

As far as I've been told this is being worked on as a "Product Enhancement Request" by Alcatel-Lucent, lets hope it will be available on one of the coming platforms/releases.

heh, good hardware/software without basic command. A little bit disapointed. Bugs everywhere :) Hope this will be cured

I don't understand that "Bugs everywhere" note.

Could you please share which issues you have?

Before you go live with your network, I'd recommend that you upgrade to AOS 6.4.3.R01.

Benny, i am sorry for making confusion.

Bugs but not in Alcatel OmniSwitch 6850 precisely and yes my AOS 6.4.3.R01

but you can make vlan-tagging for a lot of vlan's with one command (but only for one port/LAG).

for example for vlan 2, 8, 10...19:
> vlan 2 8 10-19 802.1q 1/24

maybe this will helpfull to you.

i was just scripting up a trunk, saved me some time and effort. thanks for the tip.
think i'll go fishing this afternoon after all. :)

It would certainly be a worthwhile feature, and I only needed to and 40 tagged Vlans to 1 port.....
