Unable to reset 4635 voicemail box from mgr>users

Hi,

I have a client on a Appliance Servers R9.0 OXE that use 4635 voicemail on a crystal shelf. Since the install, they have been able to reset an existing user's voicemail by removing the Voicemail directory number from users via 4760 configuration tool.
This shortcut method of deleting and creating new voicemail box for new user on existing extension has stopped working so if they do the shortcut process then old existing voicemail still exists.
I have double basculled the OXE and also reset the 4635 voicemail but have had no luck to fix this. I had to create a serial connection to the 4635 voicemail and train the client on how to delete and create using options 10 and 8 in the voicemail. But they still prefer to use the old method as they have another site in another state which is still able to reset the voicemail box by the shortcut method in 4760 configuration > users which is also on a 4635 type of voicemail.

Could anyone suggest a fix for this. Do you think I might need to initialise voicemail as I believe 4635 is not synchronised correctly.
