CS-2 card bootup problem in the L cabinet

Hi

I have CS-2 in redundancy configuration in the common hardware. One CS-2 in S cabinet and it is working fine and the second card in L cabinet which does not give bootup sequence (not working) in the hyper terminal.
It is a new installation and if I insert the card in S cabinet then it is working fine. Is there any micro switch setting in the CS-2 card or anything i missed for for the CS-2 card installation in the L cabinet.
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards
Kannan

What are you actually getting when the CS is trying to Boot up in the large shelf? You have turned the power on the GD board havent you? (Sorry just have to ask?):confused:

If you aren't getting any output on the CS when powered on, than it's the slot on the shelf that's bad.

Hi Mr T,

The L cabinet is working fine with other cards. when I switched ON the CPU the CPU LEDs are blinking then it goes to OFF condition in the L cabinet.
If I insert the CPU in S cabinet it is working fine.

Hi, check switch 4 is off on the CS in slot 8. It shoul only be on if the CS is in the controller slot to monitor power/batteries.

Hi Murray,

Thanks for your reply.
This is CS-2 card. Will it also have the switch setting?

I checked the micro switch setting and found that the switch 4 is OFF only in the CS-2 card.
