Hello to all

I had a crash with a hard drive and i reload the release(6.2) and restored the backup with success. The problem is that the voice guides are not laoded but the fuctions are working. The files on the vgeva folder are there. can someone tell me how to activate the voice guides?
And the other problem is that the text on the digital and the ip phones makes no sence.i forced to change the language to English.I over righted the translation.GRO file but still no joy.Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

Hi. vgeva is for 4645 voice mail. You need to upload under vgadpcm. Use VG Transfer Tool. Connect to the PBX, select Business Custom. This should transfers at least 4 files. Including Music on hold.

Do you have common hardware or crystal hardware? Regards.

hi tincho.rn,

Incase VG CD is not available,is there a way of reactivating the system voice guides after loading the old database without using the VG tool?

Regards,

Hi Davy. Usually, if you do not backup VG you will need VG CD. Check under /usr7/vg/ in common or standar. You can activate them. But if you upload a backup where VG where working and you have the VG under this directory, they should work find.
If you do not have VG under this directories, you will need the CD. Regards.
