Hi,
In an ACT Media Gateway with INTIPB what is the ethernet configuration?? (auto nego. half and full duplex, forced 100MB full duplex, etc). This parameter apear in a configuration of an INTIPA but not in an INTIPB. Does anybody knows?.Apparently this is causing a reset of the ACT media gateway, this is the incident that shows:
22/07/10 15:00:01 000000M|001/20/0/254|=2:0379=Inter ACT link HS: 23,(19,1),172.16.16.8,00:80:9f:8c:ee:e6
Or what can be happend, i hope you can help me.
Regards.

Murraya you were right I could change the speed of the ethernet conection through the console port, but the problem persists ACT is reset from time to time, the error is as follows "22/07/10 15:00:01 000000M|001/20/0/254|=2:0379=Inter ACT link HS: 23,(19,1),172.16.16.8,00:80:9f:8c:ee:e6", with incinfo shows:
INCIDENT NUMBER: 379
Network indicator: Alcatel 4400
OBJECT CLASS: Dhs3Terminal
EVENT TYPE: EquipmentAlarm (4)
PROBABLE CAUSE: Unknown (0)
SEVERITY: Major
"Inter ACT link HS: P1"

I think it has something to do with the connection inter-ACT but not sure what to do, any ideas?
I hope you can help

Hope the shelf address is correctly managed on INTIP board via DIP switch settings.

You may be having Speed/Duplex mismatch between your INTIPB 10baseT ethernet board and your switch port.
