4008 SIP Standard at OXE

Post by enio.eltz »

Hi

I have some doubts about 4018 SIP Standard and OXE.
First of all, I have the OXE installed and running. I want to connect 2 IPtouch 4018.
With IPtouch in no SIP Standard mode, I need to use VPN if OXE and IPtouch aren't in the same network. Am I right?
With IPtouch in SIP Standard mode, could I use NAT? Without VPN and with OXE and IPtouch at different LAN ?
With IPtouch in SIP Standard mode, is lock 177 - SIP registred user the right license?

Thanks in advanced.

Hi there

I've read TC1255. It is necessary increase lock 177 to run 4008/4018 as SIP. To use 4008/4018 as NOE we need VPN because it uses AL protocol inside the IP packet. Well, reading that TC, I read it is necessary to use DMS - Device Management Server and OmniVista with some licenses.
I would like to put a SIP extension at the OXE with NAT, without VPN. Did anybody do this kind of configuration?

Thanks by the answers.
