Hello,

I want to explain the issue which is affecting to an Alcatel 4400 Release 7.1.

The external incoming calls are received on two boards (BRA & BPRA2), later; they are routed over five S0 Buses. All this calls, are managed through specific software.
All is working well but after an indeterminate period, the call transfers became to fail. Between all S0´s the transfers work fine, however, when an external call is answered it can not be transferred to an extension in the 4400. The call procedure is the following:

1. Setup (first call, incoming call answered trhought the software)
2. Alerting
3. Connect
4. Connect acknowledge
5. Hold
6. Hold acknowledge
7. Setup (second call)
8. Setup (the software try again)
9. Disconnect
10. Disconnect
11. Release
12. Release complete

The call is answered in the S0 through the management software, the call is put on Hold state and later the software attempt to call to the extension which will the call be transferred. The software sends two setups and finally disconnect.
There are five bus channels, this occurs in the first bus, later in the first and second……..when the boards are reset, all begin to work fine again. While the transfers are failing, the PBX is showing these events:

012016M|--/--/-/---|=2:1662=Monitel: Lack of resource for ISDN processing, type 2, access no 14
012016M|00/11/0/000|=4:2014=Pbm repres. demi-com. 0 repres. 120 in 24
012016M|00/12/0/002|=4:2014=Pbm repres. demi-com. 0 repres. 255 in 24

What do you think is happening? i wait for answers

Thanks

hello

what kind of software is that?how this software is declared ?what trunk category do you have on the 4400 side ?what is the transfer category?

if you go shelve-board-so bus what is the telephone facility category? this category allow you to transfer outgoing-outgoing,incoming-outgoing?

this problem appears to all users that the software try to transfer?

Can you post your S0 configuration? Permanent S0? (Fax server?) Do you have a free B channel on S0 when the setup takes place?
Did you tried using T0 instead of S0 (transit call instead of user)?
