Hi,

I'd just face a problem when connecting my media gateway (large) to the CS on the VMware (R9.0). Here's the capture in the GD:

Downloading /DHS3bin/downbin/emg/binmg from 192.168.45.59 or 192.168.2.3
/usr/bin/binmg_download: download_binary binmg failed

/usr/bin/binmg_download: download of binmg failed: file not found on server or b
ad transfer or file corrupted
/usr/bin/binmg_download: sleeping 5s then retrying...

Downloading /DHS3bin/downbin/emg/binmg from 192.168.45.59 or 192.168.2.3
/usr/bin/binmg_download: download_binary binmg failed

/usr/bin/binmg_download: download of binmg failed: file not found on server or b
ad transfer or file corrupted
/usr/bin/binmg_download: sleeping 5s then retrying...

Downloading /DHS3bin/downbin/emg/binmg from 192.168.45.59 or 192.168.2.3
/usr/bin/binmg_download: download_binary binmg failed
/usr/bin/binmg_download: too many retries, giving up
binmg download failed after 3 retries

I already done this steps on the CPU :
- Create a shelf and board, add the GD MAC address on the ethernet parameter
- On the IP - INTIP/GD Parameter i do the ethernet address check by TFTP

And on the GD :
- Assign static IP addressing
- Put the CPU IP address on the CS role address.
- Assign dynamic shelf assignment.

The weird thing is, when i use the other CS (not on VM ware) with same IP addressing and config everything works great (in service status in the GD board).

Does anyone have facing the same problems??

Network failure from vmware to the GD hardware. Check your type of network setting on vmware.

solved the problems! The reason why the MG won't download is because the windows 7 defender ( i already disable the firewall, defender still blocking the tftp). Thanks for the response
