Hello,
I've some PC with windows 7 Pro 32-bit and I try to install the 4980 softphone (version of OTUC 3.07.143). After the installation the program runs but after the pc reboot the pc doesn't start! It seems that the 4980 has corrupted the windows registry and windows 7 doesn't run.
Anybody have a problem like this?
Thank you in advance

Since when is an "dead" product working with Windows XP sudenly supported in Windows 7 environment? 4980 will be removed in ICS 7.

4980 is not working with Window 7 in the first place. and will discontinue with ICS 7 as banfield mention.

Hello,
my server offered this version for upgrade when I connected with a previous one. I assume our phone team got the version from alcatel - I will check with them

Dear Christoph,
we have customer who want to use 4980 (OTUC 5) with Windows 7. but as it is not possible we ask Alcatel for this. they very firmly said that 4980 is no more and advice us to upgrade customer site to ICS 6 and provide My IC for Windows 7. So I don't think you can run any version of 4980 with Windows 7 even with help from Alcatel.
