Update issue

Iam trying to update various patches on my ECS. I have internet access with a dozen pc's networked on the same LAN.

I can ping support.rightvision.com from any pc - proof that the network can contact the site.

I try to run the updates manually and i get a message saying "Impossible to connect to the update server!". I get the same message when i try it manually.

i have formated a usb drive to FAT and installed the patches on the drive and plugged them in the rear of the ECS. I get an alarm indicating the device has been recognised but only get a network map of pcs' instead of the USB drive ??

can any one help ?

Hi

How is internet connection of your ECS. did you select the internet connection from Appliance management > Configuring the access from an Internet connection ?

sorted now the wrong web address was typed into the update fields !!
