meaning of the file database?

Can you explain files in database: acc, acd, cho-dat, mao, mao-acc, mao-dat, obstraf, vg???
Its clear from the names:
acc - accounting
acd - CCD
mao - main database
cho-dat - chorus data ( swinst + netadmin )
mao-acc - database + accounting common package
obstraf - traffic observation
vg - voice guides
