Hi, i trying to install OXE R6.1.1, 6.2 and 7.1, and the installation initialize.
But in R6.1.1 and R6.2 the installer give the message "the server dont find the second stage ramdisk", in the R7.1 the installation init, but stop, i make the ifconfig sequence, run the /sbin/runinstall, and give the same message.

anyone have this problem ?

i tried to ftp my machine, but refuse all accesses.

i face off this problem too , you have to change your network settings on VM use host only

[/]> ifconfig eth0 down
[/]> ifconfig eth0 hw ether your_mac_address_here
[/]> ifconfig eth0 up
[/]> /sbin/runinstall

Some people don't read the instructions carrefull enough

but how can I set the eth0 setting permanent?

I know that I must configure the host-file but how to do that? (I´m not a linux-expert....)
