IP touch Phone 40xx Call log

Dear all
I used IP touch phone 4028 , 4038, 4068.
then Those phone can not display call log.
Another vendor show call log at Phone.
but Alcatel-Lucent don't supply call log at phone
why don't supply call log feature ?
Is anybody knows the true ?

hello
the alcatel-lucent phonesets are only capable of displaying missed calls and redial lists, but not a real call log by the service of the omnipcx enterprise.
but you can add this feature by adding a cti server, omnitouch uc or ics8400, which has embedded presentation server for telephony services.
in such a case, you can manage the access to the call log feature of the cti server due to xml and the application cos of the iptouch phone sets 4028, 4038 and 4068. the call log feature on cti server displays incoming and outgoing calls marked as successful ore failed.
the size is limited by default to 500 entries in fifo mode, but can be managed by an parameter on the server to 1000 entries maximum value.

I want heard when Alcatel lucent PBX is support the call log by IP touch phone.
why doesn't support on the phone ?
another vendor phone is support. My customers are complane.
even anolog phone is support call log but only few lines!!
alcatel lucent have display call log plan on the phone ?
I hope do that.

in case you install an ics server you are able to access the call log by the phones due to xml support, nozt only in a client or browser.
