Call forward fax number

Hi guys,

I am sure this should be in the begginers section

We need to call forward two extensions to an external fax service. I created the extensions as Users and set an Immediate forward to the external fax number.

Unfortunately this does not work and all i get to hear is dead air...

I can call the external number directly and hear the fax tone. Is there a configuration entry i am missing?

COS/ connection COS 5 - manage 1 in pos.5.
If you have ISDN connection - check with "t3" command (show trace for this calls).
If you have analog line (external) - this is another story.

I should have done more isolation before posting, i realized that it wouldn't forward to regular external numbers which led me to COS.
Also got some advice to delete the user and just create the extensions as Abbrev. Numbers which also works.
