How do you know how many Tsapi licenses do you need when you do agent recordings

as many, as agents being monitored to be said.
But, if you record by extension then maybe you don't need them, it depends on your recorder, type of phone on your desk and if full CTI integration is needed.
Whay is your recorder vendor and how do you plan to record (extension, trunk, drlink, ipdrlink, passive ip eye-dropping)

Hi,
You need 150 for ACD prosets + number of agents.

Nope, not as simple as this, it could be too much if you have smart-monitoring implemented in the recorder...
Generaly, either: max number of agents or number of acd pro-sets, you don't need to monitor not logged acd-set, why you should record sets without agents logged on ?

Hello,

I said also the ProACD in case that somebody make calls on it. So if you want to record only the agents then the number of licences must be equal with the number of agents. I worked with 2 different recording devices: ASC si Retia and we set the number of licenses = number of agents.
You need to monitorize all the agents in order to receive the events (loggin, loggout) .... but if you know exactly the schedule of agents you can set a smart monitoring. Otherwise nb of agents=nb of licenses.

Nope, smart monitoring equals this: you monitor extract amount of proacdsets, if agent gets login, then you monitor this agent. But this is related to actual recording system being used, so, the best is to ask vendor what licenses are needed...

Hello,

Sure this will be great, but till now i didn't find an recorder to do this. And this could be possible only if this info will be send through the login TSAPI event. With the systems that i worked this wasn't available.
Maybe Nice or other vendors use this type of recording.
Anyway the best is to ask the vendor what licences are need.
