Faint Speech
Cristal system Software release R8.0.1-g1.503-35-za-c7s2
I IPTouch 4038 phones when anybody phones into the call-centre the agent can hear the outside party 100%.
The caller can’t here the agent when the agent answer.
How can I increase the volume of the speech that the outside party can here.
It does not help to increase the volume on the phone the outside party still can’t hear

You have to be more specific. External lines are analog trunks, E1/T1, SIP? Agent uses headset (what kind)?

hi peet, do the agents use headsets? are all phones affected (agents and normal business useres)? are there other phones onsite and if so what types are they and are they okay or faint as well? if agents are using headsets how is speech if they change to the handset?

Hi Murray
The Pabx consist of 7 Call Centres with 18 Pilots and 1000 Agents and everybody are using a headset there are no normal business useres in the system only 4068 IP Agents with 4038 IP Phones there are also no switchboards in the system.
All calls on the headsets are faint but when you use a handset the calls are all clear.(Nobody use a handset)
I want to increase the speech on the complete system. This will sort out my problem and I then dont have to supply a amplifier for each headset
