collective speed dial import not possible anymore.

Post by Brice »

hello,

i am new to pbx systems and i am having issues with the collective speed dialing in PM5.

after defining two ranges in the numbering plan, for example 1600-1700 and 2300-2800, it seems that the second range is overlapped by the first :

when i open the collective speed dialing grid, i get numbers from 1600 to 1700, then from 2400 to 2800.

if i try to dial 2336 it will dial 1636 (...)

i can workaround this problem, this is not the most important.

what troubles me is that since last week, i cannot use the import feature of pm5 to update my collective speed dial list..

i get the following message :
"The import data are not stored to the database, because an error has occured!"

there is nothing else as an explanation, nothing in the transfer log, and i dont really know where else to look :(

the export function is working, the import function works on every other section, but not for the collective speed dial.

can anyone help me, please ?

i am using PMI400/14.1a

I think you have an overlapping in the main numbering plan.
Try changing the base settings of the speed dial numbers...

Hope this helps

thank you very much.

i had misunderstood the nature of the "base" setting, and had set it to 0 for both ranges.

import works again tkvm

however, i am still wondering why it wont let me put a base setting of 2300 when i want a range of 2300-2800 ...

it says the value cant be over 1900. why is that ?
