meet me conference with DDI

hi all,
is it possible to give an external caller access to the meet me conference without DISA, because the customer uses DDI ISDN lines,or if there is any way to make this access possible please help ?

You can't. It was discussed in one of the posts. The only way is for external party to be transferred into the conference by an internal user.

Yes, you can, but it requires some knowledge and some cable work... ;-D

Ever heard about "pass along a NDDI to a Z" ? (in polish it sounds little funny) and it was used in times of BCN 5200 !
I even have a cross-over "cable", that is custom made from two TY-1 cables, it has a 3 m long and two back-panel type connectors, it connects a NDDI (8 accesses) to a Z (first 8 accesses)
Never underestimate a guy with soldering iron and some free time.

Incoming calls routed to NDDI, seized Z port.
Intresting - if for this Z ports we manage - Direct routing at off-hook and routing table=meet-me_prefix+password?
If the external callers have fixed numbers - for security reason can be used in additional caller/ called filtering.

Yes, problem is if we have not fixed CLIP, we could have try to ask for password and wait for a password.
We do utilize a NDDI and Z, so we go with analog and have problems with quality & echo (small, but sometime it could be heard) and one NDDI is "only" 8 access, so sometimes it's not too much.
But for me it works, and it's 90% of market requests being answered without any additional upgrade or some meet-me bridge.
Also, for NDDI you need a card (and a cable), not a license. For Z you need also an old card without "e" in the front, so it's good "micro conf bridge"

Wow!! This is cool. I will have to try this. From what I've read above, will this work only for Crystal hardware, what about Common Hardware?

And why it should not work in common hw ? Only you need many short patchcords/linecords.
Disa is still a disa, NDDI is an APA, Z is SLI, why it should NOT work?
BTW: how to have a 50+ person conf bridge? buy two meet-me 29-parties conferences, and one spare BRA card
