Licensing NPRAE board?

Hi all specialists out there..

Forgive me for asking something that may look stupid in your eyes, but I'm an absolute novice concerning 4400 hardware issues....

An external supplier needs to install some software, that needs a PRA2 card on our 4400 to communicatie with.

I can find those cards rather cheap on different auction sites, but I wonder if I can simply buy an insert such a card in our shelf, (omnipcx 4400, 8.01 soft), or do I need some sort of license or key to get it working??
We already have a pra2 that connects to our telco provider.

Usually (if you have board like PRA2) - you can add NPRAE board without additional license (you can check with "spadmin" command, menu 2 - lock 9 "PSTN B channel=99999).
But if you will have message like "no more free fictive trunks" during access allocation - you will need to do some actions (f.e. with cfgUpdate command - search on this site).

spadmin/2/9

indicates PSTN b channel = 99999

This means I can buy a PRA2 (easy to find) or NPRAE card (difficult to find) and 'simply' plug it in? (OK I know: some config has to be done too of course, but I leave that to the guy who wants to connect on the PRA)
