VG unavailable after CPU switchover
Posted: 26 Jul 2011 01:58
Hi all,
A couple of days ago ago CPU switchover took place with standby taking over the main role.
Since then no VGs are being played.
As per vgstat all channels on GPA2 boards are are free with static and assigned VGs.
As per vgemis no vg is being played.
A lot of 2615 are been seen.
Hard reset/soft reset did not improve the situation.
Deleted one GPA2 board and recreated with dynamic VGs assignment but no luck.
Attempted to record a new dynamic VG but got a message "No VG Channel available" even when there is ample space on GPA2 board and all channels available.
Things were fine before the switchover and moreover both cpus were in sync with each other.
There is o other incident related to this issue.
Following are the details of the system. Any help would be great.

TIA
