7750 tdm pwe3 questions.

Hello all,

I was wondering if someone could push me in the correct direction. I have a 7750 SR12 and currently its main purpose is an aggregate router for many t1's coming from misc locations into our core network. My comfort level and experience with it, have been mostly limited to building addition mlppp bundles as new locations have been added, as well as rehoming to other oc3's when required capacity outgrew the space available on the original oc3.

I work as a switch technician for a CDMA provider using a Ericson(Nortel) BSC and RAN, recently a problem was posed to me, some of our cell sites do not have evdo due to low usage, however an event was brought to our attention near a couple towers that will draw in some customers to a remote area. Unfortunatly with the current union strike against verizon ordering backhaul capacity is not an option. I would like to use the single T1 that is out there, try and implement a pseudowire for the 1X side which will allow us to serve voice and evdo, without having to try and fractionalize it to average it out.

My second problem is I have no budget except my free time, so if I can even try I would need to use a currently available tellabs 8605 router for the field side, I have worked with these some in the past for this purpose and as a last resort, I could just mount one in my datacenter and one in the field to fill the temporary purpose, but would like to see if I can make it work directly with the 7750 without adding a middle step.

I have searched through the pdf's that came with the 7750, and I think it can be done and found quite a bit of explanation of the technology, but not enough for my inexperienced mind to put to gether what all must be done. Anyone have any input, or can point me to some technical documentation or possibly a book to purchase which can lend me a hand?

Thanks.
